The work of a therapist is sometimes thought to be based on "self-sacrifice. However, I disagree.
I used to treat 10 people a day and my own body was screaming, but what I arrived at was the "truth of how to use the body" that would improve both the other person and myself with zero burden.

When I first started as a therapist, I was in treatment for 10 people a day.
I am of small stature. I was more often treating people who were larger than me, and at the time I thought it was normal to always feel pain somewhere in my body.
In the therapist industry, I have seen many of my colleagues leave in the middle of their ambitions because of back or finger injuries. I myself used to believe that pain was a sign that I was working hard.

If I had not done that, I would have quit being a therapist.
